Overview
Filecoin Foundation had a significant amount of high-quality content from its events — speaker sessions, panels, conversations with ecosystem builders — but no consistent format or brand to surface it beyond the event itself. The brief was to create a podcast that could give this content a second life: branded, distributed, and built to scale alongside the Foundation’s growing public presence.
Approach
Creative direction covered naming, visual identity and episode artwork — establishing a consistent brand language that could work across YouTube thumbnails, Spotify and IPFS. The name DWeb Decoded was chosen to signal both the subject matter and a commitment to accessibility: making the decentralised web legible to a broader audience. The visual system was designed to be producible at speed, allowing new episodes to be turned around quickly without sacrificing quality or brand consistency. Format direction involved defining the show’s structure and tone to ensure each episode felt like a deliberate editorial product, not a recording dump.
